National Key Account Manager – Belgium


Our client is an expert in scientific aromatherapy, offering natural and organic chemotyped essential oils and herbal medicines for your health.


This position is devided into two responsibilities: National Key Account Management & District Manager

National Key Account Management

Maintain excellent relationships with the various clients and develop, in collaboration with the commercial director, the KAM strategy with the aim of:

  • Generate portfolio growth through the implementation of a commercial activation plan
  • Maintain the company’s market share and contribute to growth
  • Maximize the selling price and the margin of the concerned channels
  • Harmonize the commercial conditions in the different circuits
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the KAM strategy in line with the company’s strategy
  • Identify, segment, and define key customers and partners
  • Know the priorities, processes, needs, incentives, obstacles with regard to the use and advice of products
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations with key customers: pharmacy chains and groups, wholesalers, parapharmacies, etc.
  • Negotiate annual activation agreements and plans
  • Monitoring of agreements and guaranteeing their implementation, if necessary, implementation of corrective actions in order to achieve objectives
  • Specific analysis of products, prices, results
  • Conduct various business reviews over the year
  • Communicate and represent the organization at events, individual contacts, presentations
  • Collaborate with the various internal departments (marketing, finance, etc.) and external teams
  • Ensure the communication, implementation and follow-up of actions and plans with the sales forces
  • Participation in the development of the division’s budget

Management of sales teams Flanders

  • Manage a team of 2 NL pharmaceutical delegates
  • Motivate and coach the team
  • Organization and management of his team during seminars (commercial strategy: condition, contract, etc.) in collaboration with the commercial director
  • Transmit information, market and customer developments to the sales manager
  • Define the objectives of the team, in collaboration with the commercial director


  • Proven experience of Key Account Management and negotiation with pharmacy chains and groups
  • Empathic personnality with the motivation to guide and coach people, experience as a people manager is a plus
  • Perfect bilingual NL/FR
  • Good communicator and negotiator
  • Excellent analytical skills – passion for analysis of figures
  • Excellent knowledge of PPT and excell
  • Customer orientated: able to maintain excellent relationships with various clients
