National District Manager – Belgium
Introduction
Our client is one of the international market leaders in dermocosmetics.
Function
Propose a sales and promotional policy for the region in line with general objectives, including :
- relations with wholesalers and key accounts
- sales force organisation, optimisation and coordination of promotional resources and teams
- network productivity and quality (“Sales Force effectiveness“)
- local public relations policy
Action you take:
- Implement the sales policy in national region and monitor its effectiveness
- Enforce the terms and conditions negotiated with Groups, Centrals, platforms and other key accounts.
- Implement trade plans
- Implement a customer service policy and tools for analysing and monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Participate or arrange participation in any event likely to be of interest to pharmacists in the region, or to raise awareness of the brand.
Management expectations:
- Recruit, assess, train and develop the skills of direct reports
- Leading, monitoring and managing employees in the region, in compliance with internal procedures
- Develop in-depth product knowledge
- Check employees’ knowledge and adapt where necessary, provide support
- Propose changes/evolutions to improve the development of the region’s activities and performance
- Regularly support employees in the field and help them to achieve their objectives
Monitoring:
- Monitor the results of his colleagues, analyses any discrepancies and suggests and implement ways of rectifying them.
- Ensure that sales and growth are balanced between the various channels (supermarkets, pharmacies, supermarkets in general and pharmacies in particular) as part of the brand’s priority development in pharmacies.
- Propose any action likely to improve the brands in pharmacies
- Ensure that the quantitative and qualitative targets set are met (number of training courses, merchandising, events, etc.).
Requirements
Knowledge of:
- The world of dermocosmetics and cosmetics in general
- The world of pharmacy and parapharmacy
- The dermocosmetics market (products, points of sale, sales techniques)
Main skills you have:
- Commercial negotiation
- Drawing up and monitoring budgets
- Field team management
- Sensitivity to technical products and marketing operations
- Ability to self-evaluate accurately
- Analysing KPIs and determining an action plan
- Build up and monitor turnover per customer
- Good command of IT tools (Trade, Excel in particular)
