Medical Representative Waasland – Oost-Vlaanderen

Introduction

Our client, active in the pharmaceutical sector, is looking for a Medical Representative.

You will work closely together with your binome to achieve the KPI’s and to deliver the objectives for the sector.

Organization

Region: Aalst, Aalst arrondissement, Dendermonde, Wetteren, Sint-Niklaas, Lokeren and Beveren

Function

Managing the Business & Driving Performance

  • Responsible to deliver profitable sales / marketshares in line with the business strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Works directly with his/her binome but also with other GP, SP and/or pharmacy colleagues.
  • Building strong relationships with the customers.
  • Visiting general practioners through omnichannel approach, e.g. face to face visits, educational non promo meetings, digital usage, VAE, …
  • Open to be coached, open to develop appropriate skills in close collaboration with N+1.
  • Disciplin in KPI execution (effective calls versus plan, coverage targets,…).
  • Taking the lead to prepare monthly performance meetings (usage of the VEEVA CRM system).
  • Being able to create and deliver a sector driven Sales Business Plan with focus on prioritization and ROI.
  • Taking Ownership.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of (the greatest part of) the sector AND the targeted customers
  • 5+ years of commercial experience
  • Assertiveness is a must, able to ask for the business is key
  • Digitally well skilled to be able using the new communication tools, to work out the sales business plan, the CRM system, …
  • Fluent in Dutch, but French and/or English knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally, Resilience and Change agility
  • Demonstrates strong alignment to the client’s values of Patient/Consumer Focus, Respect, Transparency & Integrity
