Trophy for Medipartner at corporate badminton tournament Yonex Belgian International

Medipartner, sponsor of the Yonex Belgian International since 2022, participated yesterday in the corporate badminton tournament organised by Badminton Vlaanderen. As the main tournament was played at Sportoase Leuven, the team moved to the Kessel-Lo sports complex at the Stadionlaan.

First corporate badminton tournament

Badminton Flanders’ first corporate tournament was a test case, but it did find 7 companies who sent one or more teams. So did Medipartner. “We have been partners of the Yonex BI for two editions now. Great strides are being made by the organisation to make it interesting for companies to sponsor this top tournament. This corporate tournament has added value again,” says Medipartner’s Marketing & Communications Coordinator Kevin Van Cutsem. “I myself am active in badminton, but for our team consisting of CEO Sophie Mestré, Field Sales Manager Virginie Mauro, Medical Sales Representative Anke Coopmans and HR & Fleet Manager Leen Danhieux, it was the first time they came into contact with the sport. Nevertheless, enthusiasm was high and we had a great time. We even went home with the trophy of most combative and sympathetic team. We will definitely participate again next year.”
